Hi! I’m Megan, Spray Tan Artist and Instructor. I was a spray tan artist in Los Angeles for several years. My passion for helping people feel beautiful and confident led me to start my own business in 2019 and create my Spray Tanning Certification Courses as well. Being a part of clients’ special life moments is such an honor. I have tanned celebrities, singers, brides, models, mamas, men, women, and everyone in between. Every body is beautiful and all are welcome! I am now based in Ankeny, Iowa and just opened my own studio offering luxury spray tans in studio and mobile. By appointment only. 24hrs notice is needed to book any appointment. What is a luxury spray tan? It is so much more than just a typical spray tan that hoses you down and you pay. I work with your body, utilizing different spray tanning techniques to define and enhance your natural features. Each luxury spray tan (Studio and Mobile) includes: prep spray, barrier cream, disposables if needed (hairnet, thongs, nipple covers, eye protection), lip protectant, personalized solution for your skin tone and desired look, customized full body spray tan, blending for that seamless look, hydration spray, wipe nails, and drying powder is applied to the full body. Contouring can also be added to really make you look and feel your best! My goal for each client is to create the perfect natural looking tan through tremendous detail and care. What do you need to provide for a mobile spray tan? Anywhere in your home that you are comfortable in with a six foot space, near an outlet, and a good light source. I always ask my clients to check over their tan in a mirror, so having access to a mirror near by is ideal. Mobile Spray Tan Service Area: Ankeny, Altoona, Bondurant, Clive, Des Moines, Grimes, Johnston, Polk City, Urbandale, Windsor Heights, and West Des Moines. *Travel may apply: Ames $20, Huxley $15, Pleasant Hill $15, Waukee $15, south of Grey’s Lake in Des Moines $15. Please inquire about other areas outside of the Greater Des Moines Area. **Credit card on file is required to hold any appointment and in case of cancellations within 24hrs of the appointment time. ******************************************* PLEASE FOLLOW THE SPRAY TAN BY MEGAN PREP AND AFTERCARE GUIDELINES: “Spray tanning is 50% on the spray tan artist and 50% on the client’s prep and aftercare.” PREP: *Please schedule all other glam appointments (including waxing, manicures, pedicures, lashes etc) 24-48hrs before your spray tan appointment. Please inform your spray tan artist if you have had any procedures done recently or are going to get them during the 7 days following your tan (facials, laser treatments, surgeries, lashes, microblading). Some procedures and glam appointments are not recommended while spray tanning. * All exfoliation, shaving, and waxing should be done at least 24hrs before hand. Avoid sugar and salt scrubs and use an exfoliation mitt. *Shower at least 4hrs before your spray tan appointment. Do not use Dove soap before or during your spray tan! Showering during the appointment is not allowed. *Do not have makeup, lotions, perfumes, sweat, or deodorant on your skin for the best results. *During the appointment, ladies may go nude or wear undergarments. Please keep in mind, if a client chooses to wear undergarments during the application, they will create definite tan lines of the undergarments. Male clients are required to wear underwear or some sort. *Wear loose dark clothing (long sleeves, long pants), no bra, and flip flop/sandals if possible after your spray tan appointment. Spray tan solution washes out of most fabrics, but to be on the safe side please wear something that can withstand possible color transfer. If you are sleeping in your tan, please cover up as much as possible to avoid skin to skin contact transfer and color transfer to sheets. AFTERCARE MAINTENANCE: *Please wear dark loose clothing, no bra, and sandals if possible after your spray tan appointment. Try to take it easy for the following 4-12hrs, this is the crucial development stage. *Wear your freshly applied tan for the recommended time given. Going over or under the time given can adversely affect your results. *NUMBER 1 RULE OF SPRAY TANNING: AVOID GETTING WET OR PERSPIRING DURING THE CRUCIAL DEVELOPMENT STAGE (2-12hrs). *Avoid any strenuous activity (working out, sweating) for the first 24hrs. *Avoid skin to skin contact which can potentially lighten or darken areas of your tan. *Your first rinse should be WATER ONLY, and be short. Always pat dry after every shower and after getting wet/sweating. *It is common for the color to look significantly lighter after your first initial rinse. Spray tans can take up to 24hrs to fully develop. *Moisturize after your first rinse and after every shower. It is best to moisturize your skin twice a day with a spray tan safe lotion. *If you have to shave during your tan week, wait 48hrs after your tan appointment and use hair conditioner to shave with not shaving cream. *Avoid Dove soap before or during your tan. *Avoid prolonged water exposure, meaning swimming in the ocean, pools, hot tubs, saunas, long hot showers, and baths. *Clients with babies, little ones, or puppies: Please wear long loose sleeves and loose pants to cover up as much exposed skin as possible. Covering up is for your protection and for theirs while your tan is developing. ******************************************* It is important to use products that are approved for spray tans. Some products will strip your color, make your tan fade much faster, or leave a residue that will block the spray tan from developing. Spray tan approved products will help prep your skin for the best application, make your tan last, and some can even extend your tan up to two weeks! I offer several spray tan care products available for purchase. You don’t have to buy the products I am selling, but please make sure the products you are using are spray tan safe. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fee of 50% of booked service for any cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment time. NO SHOW after 10 minutes of the appointment time will be charged 100% of booked service. I am unable to spray tan over a sunburn. If you have a current sunburn at your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
